How will I help?

As a Data Engineer you will be involved across all aspects of our data product manufacturing process. This includes product ideation and design, data sourcing, product build, launch and run (including undertaking QA processes).

Combining a passion for data-driven transformation with a natural curiosity and strong integrity, you will find opportunities to enhance and optimise the manufacturing process to ensure scalability and automation.

This role can be interstate and does not require a Sydney-based location.

What do I need?

  • Previous experience in the data domain (Data sourcing, ETL, data pipeline processes including from enterprise data warehouses)
  • Management of large datasets to ensure integrity, quality, performance and accuracy of data for analysis.
  • Prior experience performing data analysis for use in end-products
  • Maintenance of existing analytical solutions
  • Understanding of agile environments and associated software and tools (Confluence, JIRA and BitBucket)
  • Creating quality documentation
  • Performance of precise QA checks
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R (Python preferred),
  • Experience with use of complex SQL joins and SQL tuning
  • Knowledge of databases such as Teradata, HIVE SQL, other RDBMS systems
  • Visualisation and BI tools: Tableau, PowerBI
  • Advanced Excel skills
